Bbc Learning Research
2009-2011
Researching new technologies and opportunities for BBC Learning Development.
I've done several pieces of research for BBC Learning Development, mostly commissioned by Jo Claessens.
The research looked at open access learning spaces, augmented reality and RFID, ebooks, and the economies and cultures of crafting and making.
Jo Claessens is the originator of the BBC's micro:bit computer, and the craft and making research was at the start of her development of that project.
I also did some testing of Jo's very interesting satnav stories project, driving between London and Manchester listening to a story that was played on the satnav at points of interest along the way.
People: Jenny Chapman, Jo Claessens.
